The 14th annual United Technologies Greater Hartford Marathon will change its course for the first time in eight years to showcase the revitalized riverfront and neighborhoods of Hartford. The new and improved course will incorporate fewer turns and elevation increases, making the marathon more attractive to runners, while still offering a breathtaking view of the Connecticut River. The half marathon, team relay and 5K are also new courses.
